Superb

A big thank you to Mr. Abdrahman at the reception for his outstanding support and continuous follow-up throughout our vacation. His professionalism and kindness truly made a difference and added a personal touch to our experience.

I would also like to thank Chef Mohamed Ahmed at the À la carte restaurant for the delicious meals and excellent service. His attention to detail and passion for food were truly impressive.

Negative: However, I would like to share some honest feedback. I noticed that the number of staff seemed too few compared to the large number of guests, especially during peak times. It was clear that many of the team members were working very long hours—up to 15 hours a day, which understandably affected their energy levels and ability to provide the best service. The staff are doing their best, but it’s evident they are overworked and tired.

I hope management takes this into consideration to support their hardworking team and ensure the best possible guest experience.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciate the efforts of the team. Looking forward to visiting again!

Everything during the stay was more than wonderful, from the moment we arrived at the hotel all requirements were provided, many thanks to Mr. Islam in the reception staff for his interest and follow-up to ensure that everything was available to ensure we enjoyed our stay and also many thanks to all the workers in the hotel whether in the bars, restaurants and simulation games, the breakfast is more than wonderful and during dinner there is more than one restaurant with a variety of choices, a good experience and will be repeated

From the moment we arrived at Pickalbatros Sea World Resort in Marsa Alam, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Every member of the team – from the friendly gardeners to the flawless room service – went above and beyond.

A very special thank you to Bianka from Guest Relations, who made our stay feel like a true VIP experience. She anticipated our wishes before we even expressed them, with heartfelt professionalism.

We were upgraded free of charge to a spacious family suite directly on the beach. Housekeeping was outstanding every day, but special thanks to Waleed, the Housekeeping Manager, who made us feel like honeymooners with special little touches like fresh juices and daily surprises in the room.

The beach was always clean and well-organized, with plenty of loungers available at any time. The beach service was simply legendary – cold drinks were served regularly and with a smile.

The resort grounds are immaculate, and the aquapark is a true paradise for children. Only a small note: while the main buffet restaurants offer a wide variety, the atmosphere can feel a bit busy at times. However, the à la carte restaurant by the beach was a true highlight for us.

What was the highlight of Pickalbatros Sea World Resort - Marsa Alam- \"Aqua Park\"

A laid-back all-inclusive village in the middle of nowhere

The staff is very attentive and constantly asks if everything is OK. The lobby and restaurants are nicely decorated. Some food could be a bit warmer, but in general the food exceeded my expectations. I really liked the places where a cook made / cut a dish on the spot. Definitely the fresh orange juice on some days was appreciated. The drinks were OK, just what you can expect from an all-inclusive resort, way too sweet juices and cheap beer. But with a bit of ice it tastes still pretty ok. The wine was slightly better. The pools were clean and spacious. The beach was bigger than I expected and the wind shields were a nice addition. You can go snorkelling in the shallow bit, even if the 'red' flag is there, meaning you cant go swim next to the reef. In our stay, only 4 days had a yellow flag. However, the sea was really rough, they didnt raise the red flag for nothing. Pretty corals in the deep.

Negative: In general everything is ok, but they really want a 10/10 on booking and you only get that if everything is superb. The overall maintenance of the rooms could really be improved. Shower heads are not attached, kit is missing in places, doors don't close properly and can't be closed silently. You will wake up when a neighbour closes the door.. WiFi is baaaaaad. In the room it's ok, but some places at the pool/beach/restaurant just dont have internet. Also nice that they have a big tv in the room, but 90% of the channels can't be broadcasted.. the internet is too bad for casting from your phone..The cleaning guy was quite pushy. Everytime he knocked to ask if everything is ok and gave us cola and fruit. We don't really needed that but he was waiting for a tip. One time he even opened our door himself and he knew we were there.. Bit too much, we were trying to avoid him and I don't think guests should have to do that.. We didnt leave the premises for 2 weeks because excursions are crazy over priced and there's nothing close by. The shops on the premises were terrible, extremely pushy people and ridiculous prices. Bring enough sun screen, they know they are the only shop and raise prices a lot. We also went to the Spa and the haggling was fierce.. I dont understand why they do this.. a massage for 150 euro and after haggling 40 and the massage itself was not bad, but definitely not great. I would avoid it. All the above sounds a bit negative, but it's small stuff. The acoustics of some restaurants is terrible, definitely 'soprano' , you can't talk if you're inside. Better sit outside, but the first days it was too cold for that. In general it was great, but it can be improved.
